Most items are about right, but I think this one misses the mark a good bit. Book of Sin, Parasitoid, Finger, anything with a tear delay down (Mom's Perfume, Guillotine, Anti-Grav, etc), the Nail, Skinny Odd Mushroom are some. Like most others, I have my own little personal items I would put higher (not necessarily because they rock, but because I enjoy them a lot). Steven is higher than both Blood of the Martyr and Growth Hormones though all have the same damage up and the latter two have additional bonuses. Common Cold sometimes grants poison but Scorpio always does and is lower. Ouija Board is much higher than Continuum, though both grant Spectral Tears and Continuum also gives a range boost and continuing tears.
There is also some misunderstanding about the effects of items going on. Polyphemus, Proptosis, Chocolate Milk (though I am personally not a fan), Sacrificial Dagger, Mom's Key, Eye of Belial, and Succubus should all be in the higher (or highest tears) whereas ones like Eve's Mascara, Halo, Super Fan, Prayer Card, Wait What?, Ghost Pepper, God's Flesh (that one really throws me for a loop), and Converter should be much lower. I can certainly see disagreements on this list about items that are usually considered among the best ones. Even if all had input, there would be somebody who felt that something was lower. I'm definitely a fan of this type of discussion though I don't think that they ever have overwhelming support from the community. This is more problematic (although also possible, probably) with Brimstone or Mom's Knife. You can just spam the shots and it would still be enough damage to maintain the run. Thing is, Tech X is very easy to utilize, as you don't even need to charge the shot for long at all, as with Brimstone. For example, I'm still struggling with Mom's Knife despite the fact that well-aimed shots can deplete enemy's HP really fast - it's just that it's hard to charge knife to be at the exact position of the enemy to get a perfect hit. Even with items that have a high offensive/defensive potential, you could still lose if you can't use them properly.

The reason you're struggling with Tech X is because you probably don't know how to utilize it effectively, which is okay for beginners.
Now imagine that combined with damage and defensive items. Well-aimed shots can hit enemies multiple times, but at the same time the rapid nature of this item allows you to easily spam those shots to easily kill low- and mid-HP enemies, and it also provides decent damage for late-game floors. Tech X is a drastic DPS up which is piercing, spectral(?), has infinite range and doesn't even need to be charged fully to deal max damage (and its charge time is really fast). Also, it's only with Tech X that I managed to get Keeper Delirium kill. I also attempted such a run myself and managed to get to the Womb (i was playing too agressively and lost HP in very dumb situations). Here's a run with Boss Rush/Hush/Mega Satan clear with only Tech X and key items necessary to access bosses.
